WEEE Recycling Overview
The strength of our recycling operation is Best Practice material segregation and screening to ensure maximum re-use potential; this avoids unnecessary reprocessing and retains existing carbon investment.
Recyclate and residual from our WEEE demanufacture process are sent to selected 3rd party organisations for further environmentally friendly treatment and advanced material recovery. All our treatment partners are fully audited by us to confirm they are fully authorised by all relevant agencies and that their processes fully comply with BARTT & Recovery targets.
Our processes ensure that recyclate streams are processed efficiently, minimising waste and reducing carbon investment in material recovery process.
4. Safe, manual removal of hazardous materials specified in Annex II of the WEEE regulations.

Seek-it has long standing aversion to the use of Landfill as a disposal route. On average our operations contribute less than 3 tonnes annually to landfill (>0.25% of total throughput) which on the whole is comprised of unrecoverable non-WEEE/E-waste based materials.
